Smartwrite - with English Lessons app for iPhone and iPad

Please note that this app encourages learning more than just having a quick way to fix some mistakes.

Smartwrite is a simple app designed to fix over 1,300 common English mistakes such as phrases, punctuation, capitalization, and spelling. It can hold 5,000 characters, which is about 1,000 words.

This is a very a quick and easy app to use. All you do is type what you want to correct on the top text box, click the "Rewrite" button (second icon in the tool bar located in the middle of the screen), and the new and improved writing will appear on the bottom text box. This interface allows you to compare mistakes and errors easily. You can then simply copy the results or even e-mail them.

So what exactly can it do?
1. It corrects common phrases we all get wrong ("should of" becomes "should have", etc.)
2. It works with punctuation and allows it to add spaces when needed (at the end of a sentence, after a comma, after a colon, etc.).
3. It capitalizes the beginning of a sentence.
4. The spell checker will run and replace words that are misspelled.
5. Replace slang words with the correct English word (this is useful if you are in a hurry to write something important).
6. It can still do all of this without requiring any internet connection!

It may fix some grammar mistakes, but Smartwrite was not intended for this. We encourage users to learn more about the English language so we included lessons in parts of speech, sentence structure, punctuation, conjunctions, homophones, and much more. Both the paid and free version include all the same lessons.

In order for this app to work at its full potential, you must have the following settings ON: Auto-Capitalization, Auto-Correction, and Check Spelling.
